2009

So, given that it's 6 months into the year..& I haven't been posting anything! (I know, I'm so bad..) I will give an update of our year so far... :)

January<3

We started out the New Year at Trevor's house. We had a party with his family and had a fun time bringing in the New Year. We played pool, Guitar Hero and some other games that were planned. It was definitely a fun night! Happy 2009!




The rest of January was in anticipation for Chelsie to have the twins! Finally, on January 27th we all got the call! Trinity Brenna & Trystin Bria were born! Two beautiful, healthy baby girls!

January ended as quick as it came!

February<3

The month of love:) We spent Valentine's day together, of course! Trevor got me a beautiful heart/diamond necklace that came in a little red box shaped like a bone with two puppies! (stuffed animal puppies of course) & a dozen beautiful red roses! He also bought his mom & my mom a cute little vase full of different flowers! What a sweetheart he is :) Then, I decided to get him a Build-a-bear! & might I add, the cutest one ever! (haha) I also gave him a few more scrapbook pics that I made, one in a cute frame & a gift card to Best Buy! We went to dinner at my favorite place...Tepanyaki! Trevor took both my mother & I. The food was delicious & the overall day was just perfect! Just a day full of love, how fun :) It was finally a Happy Happy Valentines! <3





Also in February! Trevor & I went down to Mesquite & stayed in his Grandma's condo! We spent 1 day in Mesquite, 1 day in Las Vegas & then headed home the next! It was nice to get away from the world & have a fun little vacation!

Day1: We were enjoying the relaxing day in Mesquite & the beautiful weather! We went to Denny's! Then went mini golfing & I won so Trevor had to buy dinner (which was only Pizza Hut, but still it was nice!) We also went bowling! After bowling we went to WalMart to get a movie, then got our pizza, watched Grid Iron Gang back at the condo, ate pizza & went to bed! We were excited to go to Vegas in the morning!



Day2: We got up early & headed off to Las Vegas! The drive was nice & the shopping was GREAT :) We spent most of our time at Caesars Palace in the mall area! Trevor bought me an amazing (& very expensive) Juicy Couture purse! Which I love so much! We had lunch at Blondies, walked the strip, shopped & just had a great time! Lots of walking...we didn't want to walk all the way back to the car, so we took the Monorail! We headed back to Mesquite about 4ish.




Back in Mesquite..we were so tired from walking but didn't want to waste the rest of our day relaxing... So, we stopped at the gas station, got those 5 hour energy things, then headed off to have some more fun! We went bowling..again:) Then we went to the buffet & had dinner! After, we went & got in the hot tub at the condo complex! We decided to make a trip to Walgreens...that was funny :) Played basketball on a minihoop that Tre bought in the condo, relaxed after the 5hour energy thing wore off, then went to bed!



Then we packed up & headed home Sunday morning! Pretty much, I slept a lot of the way! Trevor was nice enough to let me sleep :) It was a great vacation though! Relaxing yet exhausting!


March<3

Well, nothing major exciting happened in March..We did go bowling one weekend with my family! & of course hung out lots & lots!


April<3

We spent Easter Sunday together. We had brunch at my brothers house, then after we went to Trev's house. We made some salsa & watched a couple movies & just enjoyed a relaxing day together.




May<3

We celebrated a year & a half this month! :) I can't believe it has been a that long that we've been together! It is so great<3 Oh yeah & I also chopped my hair off! :) 7 inches total!



My brother, Tyler, turned 27 on the 7th & we all went to the Bee's game to celebrate! It was a lot of fun!






We watched my brother's play flag football the Saturday before Mother's day! That was fun to enjoy us some football! :) The boys all played great! Won both games!






The 10th was Mother's day & also our actual 18 month mark! We spent the morning of Mother's Day with Trev's Mom/Family! We went to breakfast out in Grantsville & then spent some time at his Grandma's house! We headed back to SL & had a picnic at Murray Park with my Mom/Family! After being at the park for a few hours we headed to Trev's house & spent the rest of the evening there!



Careful Dane....haha! Yes, we went to the Dane Cook show! & YES, it was amazing!! Funniest 2 hours ever! After the show, our cheeks hurt from laughing & smiling so much! We had a lot of fun! Sad, because I couldn't take my camera in to get some good pics of Dane! But, we took pictures after the show to show off our shirts we got! It was so much fun! Definitely will be going to his show whenever he comes to Utah!

Yes, finally June & I am FINALLY posting everything. Forgive me :) I will try & do better at posting on here! Sometimes I just need a reminder! Thanks for reading thus far! I hope everyone has had an exciting 2009 so far! We have & are very excited for the SUMMERTIME!! :)

How Could I Forget...!!

GOOO UTES!!!!!
Yes, my Utes won against BYU! What an exciting game! I had to work that day, but they let me leave early so I wouldn't have to miss a lot of it. (which actually happened anyways since my car wouldn't start...don't ask, it's a touchy subject haha!) We watched the game at Leon's house & had a fun barbeque! After I got past my bitterness about my car, I had fun! The game was so exciting & I was so stoked they won! THATS MY SCHOOL! :) haha! GOOO UTES!! I can't wait to see how they do in whatever bowl game they're going to play in! Oh, & of course, we were all decked out in Utes stuff to watch the game! :)

Christmas!

Our holiday season was full of fun! We did go to a lot of Christmas parties & we celebrated Trevor's birthday! & definitely had a great Christmas!! :)

Christmas Eve: We spent time at Katie & Anthony's house with my family! We had some dinner & just had a good time together. Later on, we headed to Trevor's house for his family get together! We played games & had fun with his family! I ended up driving Trev's car home because I had to finish wrapping all my presents for the morning!

Christmas morning: Rough start for me...It was a BLIZZARD outside! It snowed so much overnight! & yes...I got stuck on the side of the road at 8am on Christmas morning! Yeah, I wasn't too happy about it! I finally got unstuck & made it to Trevs! The power was out so we couldn't have breakfast yet like we had planned on! We started opening up presents! Then, around 10 or 10:30, the power finally kicked on, we had breakfast, opened the rest of the presents when everyone else showed up!

Trevor gave me: P.S. I Love You, a nice winter coat, Victoria's Secret perfumes, matching hat scarf & gloves set, & a nail kit!
I gave Trevor: a white 49ers jersey, 49ers basketball shorts, & a couple shirts!

Since the weather was so awful & Trevor doesn't have 4-wheel drive..Tyler came & picked us up to head out to Katie & Anthony's to do my side of the family's Christmas! We drew names & all opened our presents from each other! Then a few extra gifts were given as well. Trevor & I made our Mom's pillows with pictures on them. One side had our baby pictures & the other side were pictures of Trevor & I together! Then, we found out very exciting news! Katie drew my Mom's name this year...& her gift to her was a little baby outfit! The real gift is that Katie was pregnant!! :) She is due in August! It was fabulous news!

Later in the day..we headed out to Trevor's dads house to open presents there as well! We had a lot of fun on Christmas! & it was nice to relax that night!

December 1st already!?

Yes, today is December 1st...Can you believe it? Where did the time go? It's time to start the holiday celebrations! Christmas shopping has already started. I took care of all the boys presents, now its finding something for the girls that I have to start working on. Trevors presents have also been taken care of. Well, for the most part, his birthday is soon so I've been having to buy for his birthday & Christmas..so I guess we'll see how that goes. I am still baffled that it's already December! I get out of school in 2 weeks, well 2 & 1/2 because finals are later, but wow, it's so crazy to me! My first semester of college has just come & gone. I'll be glad to have a break for awhile before I start up again on January 12th. (17 credit hours...eeesh! I'll need a vacation before I start with that) Oh, but I'm sure that time will just fly right by! I swear, time is flying faster & faster. It's almost hard to keep up. Before we know it, we'll be celebrating the New Year!

These are just some of the few things we have planned for December:
December 5th: Shandi's birthday! Holy smokes, she'll be 21!
December 6th: Snow plays for the National Championship in the Bowl game at the new Rio Tinto stadium at 12pm.
I'm going to the WJHS Dance Co concert..it'll be exciting to see what they've done this year. It's still so weird that I'm not there...ooosh! & I'll probably go another night as well.
December 7th: I think Trevor & I are going to a Christmas party with either Leon or Tawna's family, I'm not sure so I guess we'll see!
December 10th: This day will be mine & Trevor's 13 month anniversary! Yes, a year & one month! Soo fun:)
December 18th: My mom's birthday!
December 20th: A Christmas party at Kim's moms! Soo fun!
December 21st: Trevor's birthday! I'm sure we'll go to dinner & I'll give him all his freakin awesome presents:) haha!
December 24th: Of course, Christmas Eve! Hopefully we can work out to where we can do dinner with my family & spend some time with Trevors! I'm sure we will because again we didn't get to do anything last year together.
December 25th: CHRISTMAS!!! :)
Then, I'm sure there will be many family Christmas parties on Trevors side. I remember going to 3 or 4 last year! I'm glad his side does them, because my side certainly doesn't!
& hopefully we'll be able to see a friend of ours before he leaves for the Navy on the 9th!

Something to be Thankful for!

Well Thanksgiving has come & gone, but boy was it a joyous occasion. To start off, I just want to say how thankful I am for everything I have been blessed with. My family is so wonderful & my life would not be complete without them in it. They have helped me to grow & learn new things everyday. I was so grateful we got the chance to spend a day altogether, eating & catching up. I was very thankful. Trevor, of course, is one person I am just more than thankful for! He has helped in more ways than one. He is always there for me & making me happier than I ever expected to be. He is the man of my dreams. I was so thankful that we got to spend Thanksgiving together since we didn't get to last year. I am also very thankful for the other people that are close to my heart. Trevors family, they are all so great & so loving. They always make me feel welcome & I am sooo glad I get to be a part of their family. They are my 2nd family, I love them! Also, Stacy Rice, whom I miss very much & also my incredible best friends that I don't see as often as I'd like, but that I love with all my heart.

As for the festivities...We had dinner with my family & it was sooo good! We each had our little assignments of what to bring. Mom did the turkey, Tyler did the mashed potatoes, Katie made the cheesy green beans & rolls, Mike got the shrimp trays & I brought the dessert (pumpkin & apple pie, vanilla & rockyroad ice cream, cool whip & eclaires for only $13.02, yeah I had a discount thing). It was deeeelicious!! :) Well, we obviously couldn't be 3 different places at once, which wouldn't it be nice if we could...It turned out that my Thanksgiving was at 1, Kim's (Trevors mom) was at 3 & Leon's (Trevors dad) was at 12:30. We didn't get a chance to go to the Houghton one, but after we had dinner with my family, we made our way over to Kim's for leftover turkey & dessert. By this time, we were wanting some more food & Trevor had some dessert. We watched Get Smart & just had a fun relaxing Thanksgiving. I hope all of yours was wonderful & wish you happy holidays!

A Couple More...

I had two more birthday celebrations after my birthday was over. Kim, Trevor's mom, had a dinner for me on the 19th. She made chicken tortilla soup, which was delicious & just had a fun night. Then, I finally had to go to work on the 20th. I hadn't worked all week, so they threw me a little celebration. I got some balloons & then once Feliciana got to work was when the party started. (haha) She brought me a crown, light-up wand, & some other stuff. We had a lot of fun telling people it was my birthday. I decided it was easier to tell them it was my birthday then it was to explain that my birthday was 3 days ago I just haven't worked since then. Anyways, it was just a fun little extravaganza & always nice to celebrate for another day!
